CHICAGO – January 30, 2013 – Chicago entrepreneurs and savvy home cook duo, Marc J. Sievers and Ryan L. Sievers, competed on—and won—the “Chicago” episode of Bobby’s Dinner Battle on Food Network, which aired Wednesday,
January 30 at 9:00pm Central.

“To be chosen as the winners has validated both our passion and effort in what we do, and we are so proud to represent Chicago as the diverse and vibrant city that it is!” – Marc J. Sievers

Chicago personality Marc J. Sievers is an entertaining expert, savvy home cook, and author of the cookbook and entertaining guide Entertaining with Love:  Inspired Recipes for Everyday Entertaining.  As co‐founder and Director of Creative Strategy at Marc‐Ryan Group, Marc is constantly developing new, useful, and inspired cooking and entertaining content for his readers, viewers, and clientele.  Being cast on Bobby’s Dinner Battle, with the opportunity to demonstratehis food and entertaining abilities, was a fantastic experience to showcase his talent and passion for creating truly easy, chic, and flavorful dinner parties.

“Winning Bobby’s Dinner Battle was a wonderfully validating experience for me and Ryan, and I am so excited to be able to share my passion with a broader audience.” – Marc J. Sievers

On Food Network’s new series Bobby’s Dinner Battle, celebrity chef Bobby Flay challenges three teams of the best home cooks in Chicago to throw a speakeasy‐themed dinner party.  While husband and wife, Steve and Kat’s party feels more Prohibition than speakeasy, husbands Marc and Ryan serve everything but the kitchen sink, and mother and son Doris and John take the theme to a whole new level with their dinner theater antics.  Who will be named the best home cooks in Chicago and take home the coveted Bobby's Dinner Battle trophy?

In 2010 Ryan and Marc developed their business venture, Marc-Ryan Group, to be a publishing, media, and services company.  The company produces and delivers Marc’s original know‐how, expertise, and content.  The aim of their venture is to inform, encourage, and inspire savvy home cooking, entertaining, and life‐styling.  In September 2012, Marc published his first cookbook, Entertaining with Love (available at Amazon.com and bn.com).  On January 13, 2013 Marc launched his own web series—From My Kitchen to Yours—on YouTube.  Marc teaches and explains with short and lively how‐to webisodes that demonstrate and encourage viewers to try easy‐to‐follow cooking and entertaining tips and tricks.  It’s always fun, and always delicious!
