A little story...

On a trip to Paris in 2016, while walking Boulevard Saint-Germain in the 5th Arr. I stumbled across a florist's shop called Au nom de la Rose (In the name of the Rose).  I was completely floored with the incredible mass of roses that absolutely filled the entire space!  The selection of garden roses, long-stemmed roses, tea roses, and other varieties, all in the most fabulous colors, simply took my breath away.  I can't even begin to describe the scent that filled the shop and wafted out to the sidewalk!  Aside from bouquets, they also offered a selection of gifts, each with rose-centric designs, flavors, or scents.  One of the offerings I was most intrigued with was a small bag of black tea and dried rose petals.  After returning home to Chicago, every morning for a week thereafter was made better by starting my day with this lovely tea with milk and honey.
